In 2021 the Wesleyan Theatre Company and the university's student chapter of the United States Institute for Theatre Technology teamed up to revive an old university tradition of a campus haunted house. They decked out the oldest building on campus and theatre students took faculty, staff, and students through the building days before Halloween. Emily was asked to develop a spooky soundscape for each floor of the haunted house.

The first floor was Dracula themed, and the director's requests were thunder, ominous laughter, and overall spookiness.
The second floor was themed after Edgar Allen Poe's The Telltale Heart. The director requested an ominous heartbeat and crow noises.
The third floor was themed after an old ghost story at the university of a music teacher who'd died in the building, and then was revived by Dr. Frankenstein. The director requested ominous music lesson sounds, electrical buzzing, and a broken piano.
