A SHAYNA MAIDEL

A Shayna Maidel was produced in conjunction with Nebraska Wesleyan University's hosting of the National Americans in the Holocaust Exhibit and depicts the reunion of a family separated by the Holocaust. The cast and crew worked closely with a dramaturg throughout the process, and hosted talkbacks and events in conjunction with the show and the exhibit. The show was performed in the found space of the university's library, which provided the opportunity for much creative problem solving among the production team. Emily considers herself immeasurably lucky to have been a member of such an important, compelling production.
